Managing Enterprise Desktops Using the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack
This Labcast series provides you with an understanding of the tools available in Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP) to improve your Change Management process and reduce support across your and your customer’s environment. The Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack is a suite of technologies available as a subscription for Software Assurance customers. MDOP helps to improve compatibility and management (Application Virtualization/ Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization), reduce support costs (Desktop Error Monitoring/ Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset), improve asset management (Asset Inventory Service) and improve policy control (Advanced Group Policy Management).
The primary audience is IT Professionals focusing on desktop configuration, which could include Network Administrators, SMS Administrators, Field Consultants, Technical Business Consultants, and any other technical worker that is responsible for the types of tasks that can be automated or improved through the MDOP.
